Applying is stressful. But it doesn't have to be.
01. Meet your personal strategist
I'm a fourth-year out-of-state medical student at UT Southwestern, where I attend on scholarship and am on track to graduate near the top of my class. I was inducted into national Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), recognizing academic excellence, and the Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS), honoring compassionate, patient-centered care.
I've spent years tutoring, mentoring, and helping others grow, from my undergraduate years at Brown University to my time as a consultant at Deloitte. I also served as Chair of the American Red Cross National Youth Council, representing over 100,000 youth volunteers nationwide.
I founded Laurel Branch Advising because I believe great applications are built over time, not overnight. My approach centers on getting to know each student's unique strengths and aspirations, building lasting relationships, and developing thoughtful, personalized strategies to help them reach their goals.
02. Consider what you need
No two students have the same goals, strengths, or paths to success. That's why Laurel Branch Advising takes a personalized approach, starting with understanding where you are today and where you want to go.
I offer comprehensive support for both college and medical school applications, with services tailored to your individual needs:
Crafting your narrative through long-term academic and extracurricular planning
Application strategy, refinement and packaging
Personal statement and supplemental essay guidance
Résumé and activities list development
Mock interviews and interview preparation
Ongoing mentorship and professional development

Laurel Branch Advising is not a large volume, cookie-cutter application advisory. My goal is to build lasting relationships, working with students over time to understand their goals, navigate challenges, and make thoughtful decisions about their futures.
To make that possible, I work with a limited number of students so I can remain accessible, responsive, and personally involved throughout the process.
I also believe good advising should be affordable. Pricing is flexible and tailored to each student's needs, whether that's help with a specific application or ongoing mentorship.
